World Class Sport Fishing
The waters surrounding La Isla Lodge are world renowned for their abundance of marine life. From July to January giant schools of sardines and mackerel congregate in and around the bay attracting large numbers of pelagic and inshore gamefish including yellowfin tuna, yellowtail, grouper, snapper, dorado (mahi) and most famously wahoo and striped marlin. The fall congregation of striped marlin and wahoo is unmatched anywhere in the world. During the heat of the season it is not uncommon to have double digit days on both species!
Previously the world class fishing around Mag Bay was only accessible to large yachts making multi-day treks from San Diego or Cabo San Lucas. Now you can enjoy this world class fishery just a few hours after flying into Cabo San Lucas, La Paz or Loreto international airports!
